Lucille Zannino Obituary

Lucille Rosalie Zannino, 85, of Peabody passed away peacefully on March 28, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Lucille is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 62 years, Norman Zannino, her four loving daughters and their husbands, Laura and Barry Marsolais, Paula and Lenny Dercolo, Pamela and Phil Napolitano, Debra and James Austin, cherished grandchildren, Lenny Dercolo and his wife Molly, Revere Police Officer Michael Dercolo, Courtney Iannoni and her husband Michael, Nicole and Sarah Napolitano, Stephanie and Cassandra Austin, and her precious twin great grandsons, Marcus and Jackson Dercolo. She is predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Mary Bonaiuto, her siblings Marie Byrne, Rudolph Bonaiuto, Salvatore Bonaiuto and Delores Martin. In addition, she leaves behind many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Her bright blue eyes and wide smile lit up a room. Her passion for life was her family and friends. She was an excellent cook, loved to entertain, and holidays and celebrations always had both traditional Italian favorites and exciting new recipes on the table. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and lifelong friends, especially to Italy, and was active in her social committee at her retirement community, Half Moon Bay in Florida. Mother’s Day outings with her daughters and granddaughters were her favorite. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, liked playing the slot machines and especially delighted in spending time with her grandchildren in whatever sport or activity they were involved in. She was so proud of all of them. Becoming a great grandmother to twins Marcus and Jackson eight months ago brought her enormous joy and contentment.
