Arrigo, John R. “former Ward 5 City Councillor” of Revere on July 25, 2016. Beloved husband of Paula (DeGruttola). Devoted father of Kim Bellia and her husband Anthony, Mayor Brian Arrigo and his wife Daveen Balliro Arrigo all of Revere. Cherished grandfather of Gianni Bellia, Domenic Bellia and Joseph John Arrigo. Loving son of the late John A. and Elsie (Dingwell) Arrigo. Dear brother of William and Glenn both of Burlington and Michael of Maine. Also survived by his mother in-law Mary DeGruttola of Revere and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St Revere on Friday July 29th at 9:00 am Funeral Mass at St Anthony’s at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. John was a Newspaper Pressman for over 30 years and worked at the Boston Globe for over 20 years; he also served as a U.S. Marine Reservist. “Da” was a proud grandfather, an avid golfer, sports fan, memorabilia collector, Twist-dancer, Righteous Brothers fan and a longtime member of St Anthony’s Holy Name Society.
