As a young boy, Tiago loved to swim. His real passion, however, was soccer. He was a hard worker and his work ethic began at a young again. At 12 years old he would ride his bike for over an hour to go work harvesting.
Like many who lived in his small city, Tiago had big dreams. A little over a month after 9/11, Tiago came to the United States at the age of 17. Packing his bags with hopes and dreams, he desired a better life. He started his first job as a carpenter’s helper, not knowing that it would become his true passion.
Tiago was passionate about whatever he did he did and did so with excellence. He was a perfectionist which drove his sister crazy. Every job he did, he did the very best and he did it with love.
When Tiago wasn't working, he loved to watch his favorite soccer team, Palmeiras, or stoll down the aisles of Home Depot to check out the latest tools. There was nothing more important to Tiago than time with his daughters, Stephanie and Penelope. It was his dream to be a father, and he was a great one.
His very early departure leaves his family heartbroken They take comfort in knowing he is now at peace, free and happy from all this crazy world put us through. This isn't goodbye, it's just “see you later”.
A Visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons ~ Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 4 – 8 PM. Tiago will be laid to rest in his home country of Brazil. For guestbook, please visit www.buonfiglio.com
