Thomas "Tom" J. Screnci

Screnci, Thomas “Tom” of Saugus, MA passed away peacefully on February 8 at the age of 86. Born in Boston on July 6, 1939, to the late Joseph Screnci and Phyllis (Pergola) and Beloved husband of 65 years to the love of his life Joan (Catizone).

Thomas was in the produce business and had his own store for many years, but his true essence was found in his love for life and people. He was known for his larger-than-life personality, which filled every room he entered with warmth and vitality. He found pleasure doing the things he loved like skiing, fishing, traveling with his wife and golfing with his buddies. He cherished these activities not only for the sports themselves, but for the camaraderie and the shared laughter and memories they brought.  Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Thomas was a loving, devoted father of his son Joe Screnci and his wife Gracie of Salisbury, and his daughter Marlene Kennedy of Hanover. “Papa Tom” was the adored grandfather of Jake Screnci and his wife Kayla, Ariel Koch and her husband Toby, and Jordan and Tyler Kennedy. A dear brother of Joseph Screnci of OH and of the late Phillip Screnci. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons Funeral Home, 128 Revere St, Revere on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00pm followed by a Prayer Service in the Funeral Home at 1:00pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. For guest book please visit www.buonfiglio.com.
