Steven Veerasammy

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Steven Veerasammy, who passed away on January 6th 2026 at the age of 42

From an early age, he experienced circumstances that shaped his life in difficult ways. Though his path was not an easy one, he continued on with quiet determination, navigating each chapter as best he could. Those who loved him knew the strength it took for him simply to keep going.

He was deeply loved and steadfastly supported by his father, Hector, who stood by him throughout his life with unwavering care and devotion.

He loved food and never shied away from enjoying it, cherished his cat Biggs, and had an unmatched lifelong passion for gaming. He leaves behind his father Hector Veerasammy, his sisters, Jennifer Veerasammy, Christina Veerasammy, and Erica Veerasammy, and a family that loved him deeply numerous aunts, uncles, too many cousins to count, and nieces and nephews who will carry his memory with them always. He will be remembered for his perseverance, his quiet strength, and the place he will always hold in the hearts of those who loved him. He is deeply missed and will never be forgotten.
