Sarah Rosaria Richardson

Sarah Rosaria Richardson, known for her vibrant spirit and deep love for her family, passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on August 18, 1932, in Everett, Massachusetts, Sarah spent most of her life in Revere, where she raised her family and made countless treasured memories.

Sarah devoted many years to clerical work, serving as a secretary with diligence and dedication. But her true heart was in her home and her family. She took great pride in her home, keeping it spotless and welcoming, a reflection of her meticulous nature and warm heart.

Sarah at every family gathering. Her laughter and spirited conversations became a cherished part of every occasion, and no event felt complete without her. In her later years, she found special joy in square dancing with her beloved husband, James, the two of them sharing their bond and happiness in every step.

Sarah will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lori Richardson, and her son, Jimmy Richardson; her granddaughter, JamieLee; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. She cherished her ties to both the Richardson and Arigo families, and her warmth and respect brought the two together in a lasting bond of affection. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Richardson, and by her parents, Biagio and Josephine Arigo.

Sarah's love, laughter, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed, but the memories she made and the joy she brought will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Sarah's name to Shriners Children's Boston, which provides specialized care to children regardless of their families' ability to pay. Donations may be made at shrinerschildrens.org/boston

A Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 10:15 AM at Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Church. Interment will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
