Bottari, Santina (Cacciola) of Revere. Born in Itala, Sicily on August 15, 1930 to the late Salvatore and Maria (Rigano) Cacciola. Devoted mother of Mimma Cardello and her late husband Giuseppe of Revere, Joseph Bottari and his wife Annarita of Wakefield, and Salvatore Bottari and his wife Houda of Swampscott. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Keegan and her husband John, Joseph Cardello and his wife Helen, Joseph Bottari, and Afia Bottari. Cherished great grandmother to Siena and Gianluca Keegan. Dear sister of Michele and Rosina Cacciola of Revere and the late Grazia and Santo Spadaro of Italy. Dear sister-in-law to Maria and the late Charles Gammacurta, Carmela and the late Giuseppe Bottari, , Giovanni and Maria Bottari, Agatina and the late Giuseppe Rinella, Nino and Kathy Bottari, and the late Carmelo and Elena Bottari. Adored aunt of Maria Cacciola, also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great, great nieces and nephew. Santina’s family immigrated to the West End of Boston eventually moving to Revere where she resided for over 50 years. Santina worked for the Italian Consulate in Boston where she provided cleaning services and greeted the staff with fresh coffee and sweets each week. She also worked a second job at a dry cleaner while raising her three children. She is fondly remembered by family and friends for her wonderful cooking and her love of food and family. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held at Paul Buonfiglio & Sons–Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere, on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday at 9:30 AM from the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 AM Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Revere.
