Devoted father of Robert Jr and his wife Gail of New Hartford NY, William and his wife Pamela of Saugus and step daughter Gianna Hughes of Revere. Dear brother of Richard Rice of FL and Elizabeth Rice of Billerica. Son of the late James and Doris (Thayer).Also survived by 5 loving grandchildren Michael, Casey, Ciara, Samantha and Madelyn. Funeral Service in the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St Revere on Saturday Dec 29th at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited at 10:30am. Visiting hours will be Friday 4-8 pm. Late member RHS class of 67, former 38yr employee for the Boston Globe.Bob loved to travel, fly his own plane and his dogs Shadow and Winston.
