Robert D'Ambra

Robert "Rob" H. D'Ambra, Jr. of Springfield, formerly of Revere and East Boston passed away on March 21, 2023. Beloved son of Josephine (Scoppettuolo) D'Ambra and the late Robert H. Sr. Devoted husband of Renee Caruso D'Ambra. Loving father of Sophia, Alexis, and Anthony D'Ambra. Dear brother of Elizabeth "Lizz" Marchese and her husband Leo of Revere, and Michael "Mikey" D'Ambra and his fiancé Tanya Stanley of Peabody. Cherished uncle of Johnathan, Julianna, Preston, and Matthew. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Robert was born and raised in East Boston before moving to Revere later in life. Rob loved cooking, which came so easily for him. He loved playing gadgets, taking them apart to see how they ran. His true love, however, was his family. He would do anything to make sure they were taken care of. Rob lived and loved hard. He would do anything to help a family member or friend. He was a man with a big heart, always eager to help. Rob knew how to put a smile on your face and get you to laugh. He had a child-like personality. His kids were his world. Visiting hours will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons – Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere on Friday March 31st from 4-7 pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
