Richard Johnson

Johnson , Richard of East Boston passed away on August 30, 2023 at the age of 80. Born in Revere on July 2, 1943 to the late Allen and Amelia “Molly” (Stornaieulo). Beloved husband of 57 years to Geraldine (Firth). Devoted father of Karen Goscinak and her husband Robert of Saugus, Richard Johnson and his girlfriend Tarsheen Ferara of East Boston, and the late Kenneth Johnson. Cherished brother of Irene Costello and her husband Edward of Revere, Cheryl Van Meter and her late husband James of East Boston, Warren Johnson and his girlfriend Jayne Borzillo of East Boston, and the late Anthony Stornaieulo, Dorothea Greco, and Allen and Daniel Johnson. Caring grandfather of Fallan Claudio-Couldren and her husband Jason, Tia Buonfiglio and her husband Victor Jr., and Mazie Goscinak. Adored great grandfather of Thomas and Kenneth. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He also leaves his dear friend of many years Chico Fraser. A Visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 8:30am to 10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church in Revere at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
