Phyllis (Budreau) MacDonald, 99, of Peabody, beloved wife of the late Joseph D. MacDonald Sr, entered into eternal life on April 14, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born May 15, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Elizabeth (Ranson) Budreau. Phyllis was raised and educated in Everett. She was a devout catholic and spent many years as a member of the church choir at Immaculate Conception Church in Everett. Phyllis is survived by her children, Joseph D. MacDonald Jr. of Tewksbury, Bernice Verocchi and husband Louis of AZ, Paul MacDonald and his wife Lillian of OR, Janet Cefalo and her husband Guy of Peabody, John MacDonald and his wife Paula of Revere, the late Thomas MacDonald, and her daughter-in-law Nancy MacDonald of Melrose. Dear sister of the late Margaret Legere and Bernice Peddle. Cherished grandmother of 15, great grandmother of 25, and great great grandmother of 3. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A devoted mother, her life revolved around her children and grandchildren. Her family will remember her by her famous chocolate cakes and spaghetti dinners! Her spare time was spent making wedding cakes, crocheting afgans and ballroom dancing. Phyllis’ family would like to acknowledge the CNAs and Nurses at Rosewood Nursing Home for their loving and compassionate care during her 14 month stay. Our sincerest thank you to Compassus Hospice Care for making her stay at Rosewood as comfortable as possible and your guidance during this difficult time. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 10:00am. Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Everett at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Interment Glenwood Cemetery.
