It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Michael Stasio on June 25, 2026, a man of immense strength, kindness, and leadership. Born on August 8, 1980, in Malden, MA, to his loving mother Laura Carroll and his father John Stasio. He spent his life touching the souls of those around him through his words and actions. Michael was often likened to a beacon of hope and strength by those who knew him.

He is survived by his dear brother James Stasio and his wife Lisa of Saugus. Michael was an adored uncle and godfather to Gianna Stasio who will truly miss him.

Michael was a dedicated plumber by profession, having devoted 15 incredible years to his trade. His work was more than a job; it was a testament to his character—reliable, steadfast, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Michael was also a passionate baseball player, playing for the Orioles in the Men's Wooden Bat League. His spirit on the field was infectious; he knew how to rally his teammates, whether they were at the plate or in the field. His zeal for the game was only paralleled by his love for his family and friends.

Michael's legacy extends beyond his life, as he was an organ donor. His final act was one of profound generosity, saving five lives. This selfless act encapsulates the essence of Michael - a man who gave of himself, literally and metaphorically, to better the lives of others. They, along with the rest of us, will remember Michael not just for what he did, but for who he was—a beacon of strength, kindness, and leadership.

Michael was an athlete, a strong man who loved with his whole heart. He was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of being in his company. He was witty, thoughtful, loving, generous and will live on in perpetuity. For guest book please visit www.buonfiglio.com.
