Michael Vito Lombardo, 37, of Topsfield, sadly passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. He faced the disease with incredible strength, courage, and dignity. Michael was born on January 31, 1987, in Malden, MA, to Lorraine and Jason Lombardo. He was raised in Everett, MA. More of a student of life than the classroom, Michael received his GED and subsequently completed the YearUp program. After YearUp, Mike began his career as a help desk analyst and rose to become a system administrator at a large hospital in Boston where he successfully led their implementation of ServiceNow. This pivotal moment ignited Mike's love for ServiceNow. He eagerly consumed and learned everything he could about the platform, shaping his vision for the future. Michael went on to become the co-founder and CEO of GlideFast Consulting, an Elite ServiceNow Partner. Under his leadership, the organization grew into an international company with over 600 employees. Michael deeply cared about each person that works for GlideFast and their families, feeling a profound responsibility to help them become the best versions of themselves. He was dedicated to their success, always striving to support their growth, happiness, and well-being.
His immense career successes were surpassed only by the beautiful family he and his wife, Jessica created together. Michael and Jessica grew up on the same street and were friends since their pre-teen years. Their friendship eventually grew to true love, one that was built on trust, support, and lots of laughter. Michael and Jessica have two incredible children together, Sophia (11) and Olivia (7). Both of Michael’s daughters have inherited Michael’s infectious smile that brightens every room they walk into, an unwavering love for their family, and a silly disposition that allows them to find humor and joy in any situation.
In addition to his career and family, Mike was a dedicated philanthropist. He served on the board of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation, which aids cancer patients and families who are facing financial insecurity. Michael was also a staunch supporter of YearUp, a nonprofit organization devoted to providing professional development opportunities to young adults. Additionally, Michael answered the call to anyone who needed support, assistance, or help- it truly brought him joy to give to others.
Michael is survived by the love of his life and wife, Jessica; his loving children, Sophia and Olivia; his proud mother and father, Lorraine and Jason Lombardo; his late step-dad, Neil Shapiro; his mother-in-law, Luann Butera; his father-in-law Big Artie Gadman; his grandmother Grace Silva; Jess’ grandparents, Tom and Barbara Butera; his sister, Andrena Lombardo Silva, and her husband, Kenny Silva; his brother-in-law and best friend, Artie Gadman; his Godmother, Maryann Maniscalco, and her partner, Greg Buccini; his aunts and uncles, Joe and Claire Silva, Dennis and Dawn Silva; his cousins, Gina Maniscalco, DJ Silva, Doug Silva, Eric Silva, and late Joey Silva; his many nieces and nephews, Julia Silva, Francesca Silva, Lily Gadman, John Silva, and Arthur Gadman, and countless friends.
