Marie King, a beloved matriarch, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in Port Charlotte, Florida, at the age of 90.

Marie lived a long and beautiful life defined by her warmth, grace, and love of family. She possessed a rare ability to make anyone feel at home, and her sharp wit and gentle spirit brought joy to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob King, with whom she shared a deep, enduring love and many wonderful years of companionship.

Marie’s legacy lives on through the family she adored. She is survived by:

Her daughter, Cynthia Foster, and her husband, Bob Foster, of Boxford, Massachusetts, along with their children, Stuart and Clark. Her son, Michael Kelley, and his former wife Cathy of Rockport, Massachusetts, along with their children, Ethan and Colin.

Her four grandsons were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in watching them grow.

In lieu of flowers: The family requests that memorial donations be made to Tidewell Hospice of Port Charlotte.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the caregivers, neighbors and friends in Port Charlotte who provided comfort, care, and friendship to Marie.

A funeral service for Marie will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 9-10:30AM at Buonfiglio Funeral Home 128 Revere Street, Revere followed by entombment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
