Marie M. Digiacomo

Marie M. DiGiacomo (Palladino), 87, a lifelong Revere resident, passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Wingate Nursing Facility in Andover, MA. Born in Revere, MA on March 8, 1927, she spent most of her life as a homemaker, later retiring with the Stop & Shop Company. Marie was a former resident of the Friendly Gardens in Revere. Born the daughter of the late Pasquale and Flora (Coppola) Palladino. She was the wife of the late James DiGiacomo. Marie was the beloved Mother of Gina DiGiacomo of Maine; Jill Kouyoumjian and her husband Paul of Barrington, NH; Michael DiGiacomo of Tucson, AZ; and Royale Dishion of Wakefield, MA. She was the much loved sister of Arthur Palladino, Sr. of Arlington, MA; Nella Serino of Salem, MA; and the late Dorothy Dudley of Revere, MA. She will be dearly missed by her Grandchildren: Christian Dishion of Wakefield, MA; Daniel Dishion and his wife Leanne of Wakefield, MA; and Ariana and Olivia of Maine; and by her Great Grandchildren: Nathan and Kaelyn Dishion of Wakefield, MA; as well as many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home at 128 Revere Street, Revere, MA on September 29, 2014, at 11:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited at 10am. Visiting hours Sunday, September 28, 2014, from 3:00-7:00 pm. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, MA.
