Bartol, Marie (Mori) of Revere passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 13, 2026, at the age of 95. Born in Boston on May 15, 1931, to the late Jeremiah P. Mori and Rose A. (Bagnera). Beloved wife of 49 years to the late Robert L. Bartol Sr. Marie was a luminary whose life radiated with love, generosity, and unwavering loyalty to her family and friends.
Marie was not just a devoted homemaker, but she was the very heart of her home. Her kitchen was a testament to her passion for Italian cuisine, where she crafted delicious meals that united family and friends around her table. Her Sunday dinners and holiday feasts were events awaited with great anticipation, not only for the delicious food but for the warmth and love served along with it. As an incredible baker, her cookies were legendary and sought after by everyone who had the fortune of tasting them. To Marie, cooking was not just about food, but about creating moments of joy and togetherness. As the great Julia Child said, "The act of cooking for someone else is one of the most profound expressions of love." In her generous spirit, Marie found joy in nourishing the bodies and souls of those she cherished.
Marie’s love knew no bounds, especially when it came to her grandchildren. She was their most ardent supporter, always present at their hockey games and youth sports events, cheering them on with an enthusiasm that energized everyone around her. Her love, support, and guidance have left an indelible mark on their lives.
She was a devoted mother of Robert L. Bartol Jr. and his wife Noreen of Revere, and Linda Redding and her husband Scott of Revere. An adored grandmother of Jeffrey Redding and his wife Tiana, Patrick Bartol and his wife Karleen, Daniel Redding and his wife Giana, and Ryan Bartol. A cherished great grandmother of Adonis Redding and Madison R. Bartol.
A Visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons Funeral Home, 128 Revere St, Revere on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 10:00am to 11:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Revere.
