Lauri Salemme

Lauri Jean Salemme, age 48, a lifelong resident of Revere, Massachusetts, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026.

Born in Malden on May 11, 1978, Lauri was the cherished daughter of William C. Salemme of Revere and the late Linda LaPointe. She was raised with deep love and devotion in Revere by her father and her grandmother, the late Norma Salemme, and was a graduate of Revere High School.

Dedicated to lifting others up, Lauri spent many years working as a recovery specialist. Her calling was defined by genuine empathy, boundless compassion, and an open heart—she was always willing to extend a helping hand to anyone in need, offering hope and understanding without judgment. To know Lauri was to know joy, laughter, and fun. Above all, she had an unwavering love for family first. She lived life to the fullest, found great happiness in the company of her dearly loved cats, and brought a bright, generous spirit to everyone around her.

Lauri is survived by her brother, William, and his wife, Carrieann Salemme, of Revere. She was the beloved aunt to Alexis and Brandon, and the proud, adoring great-aunt to Eliana, all of Revere. She also leaves behind her dear uncles, Victor Salemme of Standish, Maine, and Michael Salemme of Winthrop, Massachusetts, along with extended family, close friends, and the many lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to gather in celebration of Lauri’s life. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lauri’s memory may be made to an organization of your choice or an animal rescue.
