Cummings, Kevin J. – of Revere, formerly of Malden, October 22, 2020 after a long illness at 61 years of age. Beloved husband of Joyce Doherty. Devoted father of Kasey J. Cummings and Kyle R. Cummings, both of Revere. Loving son of the late James and Mary (Ryan) Cummings. Dear brother of Robert Cummings and his wife Beverly of Malden, Laurence Perry and his wife Vivian of Eastham, Margaret Decie of Beverly, Elizabeth Perry of Ware, William Cummings and his wife Kathleen of North Reading and the late James Cummings, Barbara Cummings, Timothy Cummings, and James Cummings. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere on Tuesday October 27th from 5-8 pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Due to Covid-19 guidelines and due to strict capacity limits, we ask everyone to make a brief visit and then exit the funeral home so others may enter. Social distancing and mask are required. Kevin worked for New England Coffee for 26 years. He also was a baseball coach to many of Revere’s youth as well as other organizations. He was passionate about the game, his players, and other coaches. He was a longtime friend of Bill’s. He loved to teach, encourage and inspire and will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701. Interment will be private at Woodlawn Cemetery.
