Karen Morgan

Karen Morgan of Revere, Massachusetts, passed away after a battle with cancer on Friday, December 23, 2016, surrounded by her family. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, Karen was the daughter of Thomas Morgan and Barbara (Gardyna). Karen was raised in Lynn, Massachusetts, and lived in Revere for the past 30 years. She worked at Prince Pizzeria for many years and at Citizens Bank for the last decade. Karen was the beloved wife of Mucci Martocchio of Revere and the cherished mother of Brian Abcunas and his wife, Colleen, of Wakefield and Lindsay West and her husband, Derek, of Durham, North Carolina. She was the dear sister of Donna Sano and her husband, Jeff, of Salem, Mike Morgan and his wife, Kathy, of Lynn, and the late Thomas Morgan and his surviving wife, Linda, of Revere. Karen is also survived by her beautiful grandchildren, Sam, Harry, and Teddy Abcunas and many loving nieces and nephews. Karen loved spending summers at Grandview Campground in Rochester, New Hampshire and cherished spending time with her grandkids. Funeral services will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons, Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere, MA 02151 on Monday December 26, 2016 at 6:00pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visitation will be held on Monday prior to the service from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Karen’s name to the New England Center for Children, Attn: Support NECC, 33 Turnpike Rd, Southborough, MA 01772 in support of children with autism. Private interment.
