Gulla, Joseph “Joey” Robert, of Peabody, formerly of Revere, passed unexpectedly on January 20, 2017. Loving son of Joseph Gulla of Peabody and his loving mother Gloria Coleman DiPietro of Revere. Beloved grandson of Teresa Gulla and the late Joseph “Tiny” Gulla of Revere. Beloved grandson of Gloria Benedict Coleman of Winthrop and the late Robert Coleman of Revere. Dear big brother of Anthony and Alexa DiPietro of Revere. Adoring nephew of Frank M. Gulla of Revere, Joanne Winn and husband Dave of Peabody, the late Robert Coleman and his surviving wife Barbara of Revere, Dineen Cirame and Pasquale Barone of Saugus, Patrick Coleman and wife Helen of WA, Kelly Cioffi and husband Anthony of Winthrop, Kerrie Coleman and wife Renae of Lynnfield and Paul Coleman and wife Lori of Saugus. Also survived by many close and loving cousins. Joey loved his family dearly and spent every day with his father for their morning coffee at Dunkin Donuts. He also loved spending time with his mother and enjoying her home cooked meals. Joey had a huge heart, a great sense of humor and could always make people laugh. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St, Revere on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 10:00am. Funeral mass in St Anthony’s Church at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visitation on Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Internment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
