Irma Urbina

June 29, 1948 — October 21, 2025

Revere

Irma Urbina stepped into the arms of our Lord on October 21, 2025. Born in the charming town of Camoapa, Nicaragua, on June 29, 1948, she was a radiant beam of sunshine in the lives of all who knew her. Irma's infectious smile was a testament to her charismatic nature, lighting up every room she entered. Her compassionate heart was rivaled only by her ambitious spirit, setting her apart as a pillar of strength and love in her family and community.

Irma was a truly remarkable woman, an embodiment of courage and determination. A master in Education Science, she had a thirst for knowledge that was unquenchable, always found with her nose in a book, engrossed in the news, or solving cross puzzles. Irma was a testament to the verse in Proverbs 31:25, "Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come."

Irma's life was a testament to her love for her family. A devoted mother and grandmother, Irma found her greatest joy in the presence of her loved ones. She is survived by her son, Jocsan Sanchez and daughter-in-law Hilda Sanchez; daughter, Tania Sanchez; and granddaughters, Tatiana Roman, Tiana Roman, and Dayanara Sanchez, and twin grandsons Evan and Troy Sanchez. Irma was preceded in death by her father, Francisco Urbina Cerrato, and her mother, Angelita Gutierrez.

Irma's wonderful spirit, joy, and love for life will be celebrated by all who knew her. We will remember our beloved Irma as a beacon of light, a wellspring of wisdom, and a testament of courage. In the words of 2 Timothy 4:7, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Irma fought her good fight, she finished her race, and she kept the faith. Her memory will continue to inspire and uplift us all.

A Visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 9:00am to 12:00pm followed by Interment at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
