Geraldine "Gerri" Goodwin

Geraldine “Gerri” Goodwin (Jackson) of Revere passed away Saturday, January 21st after a prolonged illness. She is survived by her beloved husband Samuel “Mac” Goodwin, her brothers Richard Jackson and his wife Evelyn of Natick and Norman Jackson and his wife Valerie of Haverhill, brother-in-law Peter Goodwin and his wife Laurie of Walnut Creek, CA. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. A graduate of Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown and the Hitchcock Secretarial School of Boston, Gerri was for many years a successful owner/operator of several vending facilities within the Greater Boston area. She was an active member of the Bay State Council of the Blind and the Perkins School Alumni Association. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere St, Revere. At the request of the family all services will be private. Interment will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon St, Watertown, MA 02472.
