Florence Donovan

Donovan, Florence “Flo” (Salucco) of East Boston passed away on Nov. 9th age 89 Beloved wife of the late William F. Donovan. Devoted mother of daughter Juliane Donovan-McCormack & her late husband James “Jimmy” McCormack and William Donovan & his wife Sharon of all Peabody. Dear Sister of Lillian Nicotera, Linda Anderson both of Seabrook, NH, Carmen & Roger Salucco and the late Joseph and Jerry Salucco. A Loving grandmother & great-grandmother of Kiara, Kameryn, Serena, Nathan, Jossalynn, Abigail and Dominic. Daughter of the late Carmen and Josephine (Annese) Salucco. Daughter in-law of the late Daniel Donovan #1 VP International Long Shoreman Assoc and Julia (Portella) Donovan. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral in the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St Revere on Thursday Nov 14th at 9:30 am. followed by a Service at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends are kindly Invited. Visiting hours will be Wednesday 4-8 pm. After graduating East Boston High School Class of 1941, Flo went to work for the USDA as a secretary for the Food Stamp Program. She spent most of her life in East Boston. Donations maybe made to the Aleppo Shriners 99 Fordham Rd Wilmington MA 01887. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
