Dorothy (Gillis) Prendergast

Prendergast, Dorothy (Gillis) of Revere on Oct. 28th. Born to the late Daniel & Evelyn (Stewart) Gillis August 5, 1928. After growing up in Chelsea she began to work at Hysil where she met her future husband, John Prendergast Sr. They married in 1955 and settled in Revere where they made their home and raised their children. She was the wife of 58 years to John Prendergast Sr. Devoted mother of Donna Martin & her husband Larry of Glenn, NH, John Prendergast Jr. & his fiancé Heidi DeCotis of Easton, MA. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Christina, Matt & Christopher. Dear sister of the late Earl & Daniel Gillis. Visiting hours are Thursday 4-8 pm. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St. REVERE on Friday, Nov. 1 at 9:00 am followed by a prayer service in the Chapel of Woodlawn Cemetery at 10:00 am.
