Cimino, Dolores I. (Lepore) “Della” of Peabody formerly of Revere passed away on January 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 93. Born in Revere on August 10, 1932, to the late John M. Lepore and Anna (Petritzzi). Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Rocco Cimino.
A lifelong resident of Revere, Dolores was a devoted homemaker, creating a sanctuary of warmth and love for her family. Her home was a welcoming place where family ties were strengthened over her signature Italian cuisine and meatballs at her Sunday dinners. These gatherings were mandatory, a testament to her belief in the power of family. Dolores had a fondness for listening to music, dancing, and watching Hallmark movies. Dolores was artistic and crafty, creating unique home decor, and had a love for angels, filling her room with their statues. Her elegance never went unnoticed, with others quick to point out her lovely appearance and style.
She was the devoted mother of John Cimino (late wife Linda Cimino) and his partner Anne Gilbert, Fran Santa Anna and her husband Paul, and Rocco Cimino and his wife Rachel, all of Peabody. Adored grandmother of Kristy Santa Anna and boyfriend Greg Kuchinsky, Rocco Cimino and girlfriend Orianna Arvelo Ramirez, and Juliana Cimino. A dear sister to the late Ralph and Mario Lepore, Mary Palermo, Margie Breault, and Rose Lepore. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. She was fond of animals, especially the family pets Bugs and Misa who she loved dearly.
A Visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 8:30am to 10:30am followed by an 11:00am Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Revere.
