Darrow DiBattista

December 2, 1965 — June 8, 2025

Revere

Darrow Christopher DiBattista was born on December 2, 1965, in Boston, Massachusetts. His laughter was infectious, his wit unforgettable, and his presence brought joy to everyone around him. Darrow had a gift for lifting spirits and making people feel truly seen — whether through a well-timed joke or a warm smile.

Darrow spent 25 years working in the mutual funds industry, where he was known for his reliability, dedication, and strong work ethic. But more than any job or title, Darrow’s greatest role was as a father and grandfather. He adored his two children, Robert and Jordyn, and took immense pride in being a grandfather to his cherished grandson, Lucca. They were the heart of his world, and his love for them was boundless.

He also had a passion for cooking — preparing meals for friends and family was one of his favorite ways to show love. His dishes were as memorable as his sense of humor, and his kitchen was often filled with both laughter and the smells of something delicious in the making.

Born and raised in Revere, Darrow later spent 25 wonderful years in Winthrop, where he built lasting friendships and countless memories. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Philip and Maura DiBattista. He is survived by his son Robert, his daughter Jordyn and her fiancé Matthew, and his grandson Lucca; by his brothers Emmet and Emory, who shared in a lifetime of love and brotherhood; and by Andrea, the mother of his children, with whom he shared many meaningful years. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews, as well as many close friends and extended family who will forever remember his generous spirit and quick wit.

Darrow’s life was defined by love, laughter, and loyalty — a legacy that continues through the many lives he touched.

We invite you to share your cherished memories and photographs of Darrow on his memorial page. Let us all remember him not just for the love he gave but for the laughter he shared, the joy he brought, and the lives he touched. Let us celebrate the life of Darrow DiBattista, a man whose heart was as big as his humor, a man who was truly one of a kind.
