Craig McDonough

Craig "Ozzy" McDonough passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 57. Born in Saugus, Massachusetts, on April 20, 1969, Craig was known for his infectious laughter, his funny stories, and a generous spirit that brightened every room he entered.

Craig grew up in Saugus and spent 20 wonderful years in New Bedford before more recently returning to the Revere area. For 22 years, he worked as a dedicated retail manager at Bob's Discount Furniture, where his commitment and work ethic never went unnoticed.

But Craig truly came alive in his hobbies. An avid fisherman, he loved the quiet of the lake in any season, whether a warm summer afternoon or a cold winter morning. He had a real appetite for adventure — paintball, ATV rides, kayaking, motorcycles, and boating all brought him joy. A devoted Patriots fan, he loved his team nearly as much as he loved animals and the satisfaction of working on his house.

Craig is lovingly survived by his beloved wife, Jamie McDonough; his daughter, Ashley; his son, John, and John's longtime partner, Kiara; and his cherished grandchildren, Aubrey, Caleb, and Aubrey Rose. He was also eagerly awaiting the arrival of his granddaughter, Bella Rae, expected in just a few weeks — a joy his family will carry forward in his memory. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Dorothy McDonough.

Craig's laughter, warmth, and love of life will be deeply missed, but the memories he made and the stories he leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A Visitation will take place on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere, MA. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
