Filippone, Claire (Albano) of Peabody passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 90. Born in Boston on January 27, 1936, to the late Nicholas Albano and Antonetta (Amato). A beloved wife of 70 years to Andrew Filippone Sr. Claire was a radiant spirit who illuminated the lives of those around her with her loving and thoughtful nature. Her 90 years on earth were marked by a commitment to her family, a love for simple pleasures, and a spirit that sparkled with joy and kindness.
Claire was a dedicated homemaker, who poured her love into every meal she cooked, every holiday she organized, and every day she spent with her family. Her world centered around her loved ones, treating her role as a homemaker not as a job, but as a calling. Her love for her family was mirrored in her enjoyment of simple pleasures. She was a regular at the Encore Casino, loved walking the malls with her friends, and had a notorious sweet tooth that often led her to indulge in her favorite junk foods.
She was a devoted mother to Andrea Molle and her husband Victor Molle Sr. of Peabody and Andrew Filippone of NY. A cherished grandmother of Alexandra and husband Steve, Vanessa and her husband Anthony, Victor Jr. and Julianna, and Jackson Filippone. She was an adored great grandmother to Vincenzo, Santino, Alessio, Giuliano, and Avianna. A beloved sister to the late Marie, Rose, Norma, and William. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and her dear friend Stacey Livote.
A Visitation will be held on at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 10:00am to 11:30am followed by a 12pm Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Revere. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Lynnfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
