Betty Jane Conte

Conte, Betty (Sailor) of Peabody formerly of Revere passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 31, 2026, at the age of 80. Born in New Bedford on January 1, 1946, to the late Travis Sailor and Dorothy (Parker). She was a beloved wife of 19 years to the late Ronald Conte. Betty was a true "firecracker," known for her infectious energy and zest for life. She was the life of the party, always ensuring that laughter and joy followed wherever she went. Her generous heart was matched only by her willingness to help anyone in need.

Betty's passion for shopping wasn't just about acquiring things but was a reflection of her love for bringing happiness to others. Whether she was selecting the perfect gift or finding something special for herself, she did so with genuine enthusiasm. Her love for hosting family dinners was a testament to her belief in the power of gathering loved ones, creating cherished memories that will last forever. Her home was a beacon of warmth, filled with the aroma of delicious meals and the sound of shared stories and laughter.

A devoted mother of Michele Covill and her husband John of Manchester, NH, Debra Conte of Peabody, and Paul Conte and his wife Sherry of Rochester, NH. Cherished grandmother of Brittany O’Neill and her husband Joseph, William Simmons, Ron Conte and his wife Alexis, and Joseph Tavilla. Adored great grandmother of Angelo, Pheonix, Collin, and Wyatt. Dear sister of the late Arlene Patterson. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
