Bernice (Hurley) Dondero

Dondero, Bernice C. of Revere formerly of Chelsea on February 1, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Louis P. Dondero. Jr. Devoted mother of Lisa Brengola and husband Andrew of Lynnfield. Dear sister of Judith A. Mauchan and husband Donald of Marlboro, and the late William V. Hurley and wife Margaret, Ronald J., and Paul F. Cherished grandmother of Alissa Louise Brengola. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Bernice was a legal secretary in Chelsea for many years while continuing her education. She received her Master’s degree from Suffolk University and went on to teach In the Revere Public Schools for many years. She was a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association, Zonta Club, Friends Fighting Breast Cancer, The Red Hats, and St. Stanislaus and St Anthony’s Ladies Sodalities. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 9:00am. Funeral mass in St Anthony’s Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations can be made in Bernice’s name to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244, and the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St 2nd floor, Framingham, MA 01701.
