Bernadette H. Deangelis

DeAngelis, Bernadette 78 yrs. old of Revere passed away after a long-time illness at Wingate of Andover on Sept. 21, 2010. Born in Revere in 1931, Bernadette also held residence in Provincetown for many years. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Teneriello). Dear sister of Richard "Dickie" & wife Christine of Andover, the late Joseph (Sonny) DeAngelis. Sister in-law Josephine "Ginger" Coppola and her late Husband John "Chuck" of Ipswich. Also survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Joseph Coppola & wife Lisa of North Andover, Lisa McGhee & husband Patrick of Danvers, Leane DelGaizo & husband Jonathan of Topsfield, Deidra Ann Ruvido & husband Daniel of Andover, Rich DeAngelis & wife Christine of Duxbury and Derek DeAngelis & wife Heather of Bedford NH. She is also survived by many loving grand nieces & nephews. Bernadette and her brother "Dickie" were the proud owners of Backstreet Fine Dining in Andover and Companions family restaurant in Revere. For over 20 yrs she brought great humor as well as great food and good times to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. When asked what she enjoyed in life the answer can only be her family and her strong friendships. She has spoken often of the wonderful memories she created and shared with her lifelong friend, the late Beverly Abate. She will be missed by many and always remembered as Auntie Berna, the woman who was unpredictable, generous of heart and much loved. Visiting hours Friday 4-8pm. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons - Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St. REVERE on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 9:00 am. Funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
