Saugus

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a truly remarkable man, Anthony N. Forziati, on February 28, 2026. Born on March 15, 1933, to Nicholas and Mary (Grasso) Forziati in Boston, Anthony was a loving family man, a loyal friend, and a dedicated employee of the US Postal Service, where he worked for an impressive 52 years at the South Postal Annex in South Boston. A man of strong work ethic, Anthony took great pride in his role, especially when handling special deliveries. His dedication to his work was only surpassed by his love for his family and his passion for travel.

Anthony was a man of many qualities. He served his country nobly in the Air Force and was a Korean War veteran. He was a caring husband to his wife Darlene (Bailey) Forziati and his late wife Helen "June" (Nolan). A doting father to Roseanne Ferullo of Tewksbury, MA, Anthony Forziati Jr. of Berwick, ME, Joseph Forziati of Vermont, Tyess Guarnieri, the late Nicholas Forziati, Michael Forziati, and Eric Parziale. He was also a beloved grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He leaves behind a rich legacy and will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Kristine, Richie, Emily, and Jake; his great-grandchildren Anthony, Giovanni and Conroy; and his great-great-granddaughter Octavia.

A Funeral Service for Anthony will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00–11:30 AM at Buonfiglio Funeral Home 128 Revere Street, Revere, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM at Saint Anthony's Church 250 Revere Street, Revere, MA. The interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
