Richard Joseph Livote of Everett passed away on February, 27, 2024 at the age of 88. He was born in the city of Malden, on October 13, 1935 and lived in Revere until he married in 1964. A cherished son to the late Dominic and Filomena Livote. Richard was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and faithful friend. His wife, the late DeAnne Livote, and he spent 45 years together. Adored father to Stacey Livote of Everett, Elena Livote of Norwood, and the late Michael Livote. He was a proud grandfather to JJ Cruz, Taylor, Christian, and Shane Livote, and great-grandfather to Josiel Chirinos. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that were family.
Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army and the National Guard. He was a truck driver for over 50 years. Richard also worked behind the bar at The Surf, The Days End and The Wharf. Richard, known to many as Papa, was a true fan and loyal supporter of Everett Huskies, Everett Little League, The Crimson Tide and Merrimack Football. He rarely missed a practice or game. The last few years, he took up painting. He loved to gift his work to all he cared about. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 10:00am to 11:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church in Revere at 12:00pm.
