Dorothy Nocella

Nocella, Dorothy (Dorie) (Buttaro) lifelong resident of Malden passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 18, 2021 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her parents Raphael and Elizabeth Buttaro. Dorie has been a devoted wife to Angelo for 64 years. A wonderful mother to Michelle D'Amato and her husband Richard of Peabody, and Doreen Schmidt and her husband Mark of Plymouth. Loving nana to her four grandchildren, Deanna, Gerrilyn and Janine D'Amato and Michael Schmidt. Dear sister of the late Joseph, Raymond, and Louis Buttaro, Mary DiPalma, and Tina Hatch. Adored aunt to Frances Stevens, Terry Lewin, Paul Buttaro, Richard Buttaro, Steven Hatch and the late Betty Boudreau. She will be truly missed. Whether spending time with her family, enjoying summers on Cape Cod, baking delicious treats, or her simply enjoying Revere Beach, Dorie was a true inspiration to all who know her. She will always be remembered for her commitment to her family, her dedication to friends and her tremendous heart behind it all. A visitation will be held at the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Thursday May 20, 2021 from 10:00am to 11:30am followed by a 12:00pm Mass at St. Anthony's Church in Revere. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Masks and social distancing are required in the church and funeral home. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
