RoseMarie Brandano Obituary

Brandano, RoseMarie (Savignano) of Lynnfield formerly of Everett, suddenly on August 16, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Albert V. Devoted mother of Charles J. of Salem NH, Albert S. and his wife Margo of Kensington NH, Rose Marie DeVereaux and her husband Lee of Saugus, Ann Marie Liburdi and her husband Paul of Lynnfield. Dear sister of Mary Ann Giannasca and her husband Armando of Chelsea, Nicolette DeFeo and her late husband Dasco of Assonet, Louise Solomita and her late husband Anthony of Kingston, and the late Fred Savignano and his surviving wife Joan, Lorraine Magazzu and late husband John. Also survived by 8 loving grandchildren Lea, Janet, Gregory, Albert, Janelle, Alanna, Brianna, Nicholas, great granddaughter Niva Grace and Many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Paul Buonfiglio & Sons –Bruno Funeral Home 128 Revere St, Revere on Monday Aug 22nd at 10:00am. Funeral Mass in St Anthony’s Church at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be Sunday 3-7pm. RoseMarie Brandano was born on October 26th, 1931 in Chelsea, MA. At age 17, she entered into the School of Nursing at Whidden Memorial Hospital and graduated as a registered nurse. In 1955 at age 24, she married Albert Brandano and they were owners of Brandano Bakery in Revere. In addition to her nursing career and family business, RoseMarie worked as a travel agent at Ambassador Tours Belmont and Carefree Travel of North End. She always surrounded herself with her Italian culture, and enjoyed organizingtrips to Italy to share the culture with others. She was also very involved in her community as she was a very charitable and spiritual women. RoseMarie was the President of the Frances Tomasello Club of Boston, Italian Women’s Club of Boston, Professional Business Women’s Club and Lynnfield Senior Housing Colonial Gardens. She was a member of Dante Alighieri Society and Pope John XXIII High School Fund Raising Committee, and gave back to many charities and organized personal and political fundraising events. RoseMarie was more than just a loving nurse, dedicated community servicer and cultural advocate; she was also a devoted mother to two sets of twins, and grandmother and great grandmother to many loved ones. Her love has inspired 3 generations of children and she will be forever remembered and loved.
