Maurice Sigouin Obituary

Sigouin, Maurice “Moe” Norman (83) of Revere, passed away on November 18, 2016. Beloved husband of Helen Sigouin (Pirrello) of Revere. Devoted father of Maureen Clapp and husband Kevin of FL, Michelle Sigouin of Saugus, Marie-Robin Cimino and husband Antonio of Revere, Michael Sigouin and fiancée Ellen Joyce of Revere, Margarette Neary and husband Robert of Revere and Melanie Carter and husband Donald of ME. Dear brother of the late Raymond Sigouin, Jeannette Lavoie, and Richard Sigouin. Cherished grandfather of 21 and great grandfather of 5. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. An avid Red Sox fan, Moe is best known as a former umpire and referee for the Revere Parks and Recreation. He is also a Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus #179 Council. A member of the American Legion Post 61, Veteran of the USAF 945 Squadron and Air Force Reserve 3084th Support Squadron, a member of Sampson USAF Base Fellowship out of New York, an active board member of Saint Mary of the Assumption Church St. Vincent de Paul Conference and a retired Supervisor from Raytheon in Bedford. Memorial Mass at St. Anthony’s Church Tuesday November 29, 2016 at 9:00am. Interment at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made in Moe’s name to the VA Boston Health Care Voluntary Service, 1400 VFW Pkwy Unit 135, West Roxbury MA 02132.
